We’re excited to introduce another coffee in continuation of our partnership with the folks at Gold Mountain Coffee Growers, a group of farmers in Nicaragua dedicated to fighting poverty through high-cupping specialty coffee. These often award-winning coffees are meticulously grown, harvested, processed, and sorted by people truly dedicated to, and proud of their coffee. Sabino and Maria’s farm, La Fuente, is a step back in time–ox-powered carts and plows, soup boiling on the hearth in the kitchen, and abundant raised beds for drying coffee cherry, and sorting imperfections. Don Sabino carries on his father’s coffee farming legacy with purpose.
This coffee is bright, smooth, and juicy with notes of red apple, green pear, sweet citrus, and tart grape.
